The Arc of Bergen and Passaic serves over 1,000  individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.  From Early Intervention for infants and toddlers to Summer Camp and After School Programs for youth to Vocational Training, Job Placement, Adult Day Programs, Recreation, Group Homes and Apartments for adults; The Arc is  creating opportunities for individuals to reach their full potential and live happy, productive and fulfilling lives.

Save Medicaid - a major funding source for Day, Residential and Community Services for individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Block granting, caps and cuts puts programs and services at risk. Click for more information.


  • The Mom 2 Mom meeting is cancelled for Tuesday March 14th due to the snow. The April meeting has been moved to April 4th.

  • Medicaid is a major source of funding for Day Services, Group Homes and Apartments and other Community Programs. Block granting Medicaid and caps will put the funding for these programs at risk. In addition the ACA's includes provisions that protect individuals with disabilities such elimination of lifetime caps, preexisting condition restrictions and the donut hole for prescription drugs.
